lie和lay的区别和用法是什么

    “lay”用来把东西放在水平位置，而lie”是用来把自己放在一个水平的位置，它还有一个含义，说不真实的陈述，即：说谎。

    lay(放，搁;下蛋)

    lay的过去式，过去分词，现在分词分别是：laid,laid,laying

lie的用法

    一、lie表示“撒谎”的意思时

    1、可以用做名词，表示谎言;假话

    I've had enough of your lies...

    我已经听够了你的谎言。

    2、可以做动词，搭配有lie about sth 关于...撒谎;lie to sb，对某人撒谎，骗人

    I know he's lying...

    我知道他在说谎。

    3、lie 动名词lying，表示“撒谎”的行为

    Lying is something that I will not tolerate.

    我绝对不能容忍撒谎这样的行为。

    二、lie表示“躺着” 的意思时

    1、做动词， 躺;平卧

    There was a child lying on the ground.

    地上躺着一个小孩。

    2、被平放

    a newspaper lying on a nearby couch.

    3、(某处)位于(某个位置或方向)
