conference和meeting区别

    使用的场景不同。两者虽然都为会议或者开会的意思，但是两者使用的场景不同，其中一个是比较正式的短语，而另一个是日常用语。meeting可以是开会、聚会、运动会，从词根meet就可以看出，这个名词强调的是碰头、会面；而conference则尤指讨论会、协商会，在商务方面用得比较多，且比meeting正式。
