greet是不及物吗

  greet可用作及物动词，有问候，迎接，接受，被...所感知等含义，可引出直接宾语，也可用作宾补动词。

  一.用作及物动词  1.问候，迎接，招呼；称呼

  Most interviewers greet the applicant with a handshake.

  面试的雇主大都会与应聘者握握手。

  We warmly greet your resounding victories.

  我们热烈祝贺你们的辉煌胜利。

  2.（以特定方式）接受；对...作成反应

  The audience greet his speech with loud cheer.

  听众对他的演讲报以高声欢呼。

  It is unlikely that this suggestion will be greeted enthusiastically in the Baltic States.

  3.呈现在...前；被...所感知

  When we reached the top of the hill a magnificent view of the sea greeted us.
